SÂU – BỆNH HẠI ỚT VÀ CÁCH PHÒNG TRỪ

Dưới đây là những bệnh phổ biến của cây ớt trong điều kiện khí hậu và thổ nhưỡng của Việt Nam. Triệu chứng, nguyên nhân và các cách phòng – chữa cơ bản.

1. Bệnh thán thư ớt (còn gọi là bệnh đốm trái – nổ trái)

TRIỆU CHỨNG BỆNH

Vết bệnh lúc đầu là một đốm nhỏ hơi lõm, trên bề mặt vỏ quả. Vết bệnh, thường có hình bầu dục hoặc hình thoi, mầu nâu đen hoặc màu vàng trắng bẩn, kích thước vết bệnh có thể trên dưới 1cm tuỳ thuộc vào giống ớt. Phần ranh giới giữa mô bệnh và mô khoẻ thường có một đường vạch màu đen chạy dọc theo vết bệnh. Trên bề mặt mô bệnh có những chấm nhỏ màu đen đó là đĩa cành của nấm gây bệnh.

Bệnh thán thư làm thối chồi non, chết cây con vườn ươm, đặt biệt làm thối quả, cây bệnh ít quả, kém năng suất và giá trị kinh tế, xuất khẩu. Đặc biệt bệnh thán thư hại ớt cả trong thời kỳ bảo quản sau thu hoạch làm ảnh hưởng lớn đến chất lượng hạt giống.

TÁC NHÂN GÂY BỆNH

Nguyên nhân gây bệnh thán thư do nhiều loài nấm thuộc loại Colletotrichum gây ra, trong đó hại phổ biến là 2 loài Colletotrichum nigrum Ell et Hals và C. capsici (Syd) Butler and Bisby. Cả 2 loài nấm này thường cùng phá hại làm thối quả ớt rất nhanh. Về đặc điểm hình thái và sinh học của 2 loài nấm trên có những khác biệt, song về điều kiện sinh thái, chúng đều sinh trưởng phát triển thích hợp ở nhiệt độ 28 – 30oC và ẩm độ cao. Đặc biệt bào tử nấm thán thư có sức sống cao, có khả năng chịu đựng khô hạn, dễ dàng phát tán nhờ gió và côn trùng. Nấm gây bệnh tồn tại chủ yếu ở dạng sợi nấm và bào tử phân sinh trên tàn dư lá, thân cành, quả và hạt ớt bị nhiễm bệnh. Vì vậy tàn dư cây ớt bị nhiễm bệnh và hạt giống cũng là những con đường truyền lan bệnh chủ yếu trong tự nhiên.Nếu vết bệnh có màu trắng trắng xám, bên trong có nhiều vòng đồng tâm nhô lên và có màu vàng nhạt, trên đó có những chấm nhỏ li ti màu vàng do nấm Colletotrichum spp. gây ra (Colletotrichum gloeosprioides; C. capsici; C. acutatum; C. coccodes).

Nếu vết bệnh có màu đen không có nhiều vòng đồng tâm, trong vết bệnh có nhiều chấm nhỏ li ti màu đen, và chỉ gây hại trên trái chín mà thôi, do nấm Volutella sp. gây ra.

BIỆN PHÁP PHÒNG TRỊ

– Xử lý hạt giống bằng KMnO4 (0,1%) trong 1 giờ hoặc xử lý nước nóng 52oC trong 2 giờ.
– Gieo trồng ớt ở mật độ thích hợp.- Nấm tồn tại trong tàn dư thực vật, thu hái các trái bệnh đem thu huỷ.

– Luân canh, không trồng cây họ cà ớt trong vòng 2 – 3 năm.

– Chọn giống kháng bệnh, tăng cường bón thêm phân chuồng hoai mục cho ruộng ớt.

– Tránh trồng ớt trong mùa mưa. Nếu ớt gặp mùa mưa, xem cách chăm sóc và phòng trừ bệnh thán thư trên ớt trong mùa mưa.

– Phun thuốc Copper B 75 WP, Score 250 EC, Appencarb, FOLPAN 50SC, … nồng độ 0,2 – 0,5% khi bệnh gây hại.

– Bón cân đối NPK, đặc biệt để bổ sung đầy đủ nguyên tố vi lượng cho cây ớt có thể sử dụng chế phẩm Bayfolan khoáng chất 11 – 8 – 6 của Công ty Bayer với liều lượng 50ml/bình 16l. Chế phẩm Bayfolan dễ hấp thụ qua lá, thân, rễ cây, giúp cây ớt tăng sức đề kháng, tăng khả năng đậu quả, không rụng hoa và quả.

Cây ớt thường bị phá hại bởi các loại côn trùng, sâu ăn lá, sâu đục quả ớt, tạo các vết thương cơ học rất thuận lợi cho nấm gây bệnh thán thư xâm nhập phá hại. Vì vậy có thể dùng thuốc Bulldock 025EC liều lượng 0,5 – 1lít/ha diệt sâu hại.

Để phòng trừ nấm gây bệnh thán thư ớt, cần sử dụng kịp thời một số thuốc trừ bệnh chủ yếu sau: Thuốc Antracol 70WP (liều lượng 2kg/ha) phun trực tiếp lên lá, cây hoặc quả khi bệnh mới xuất hiện. Thuốc Antracol 70WP ngoài tác dụng phòng trừ trực tiếp nấm gây bệnh thán thư còn có tác dụng bổ sung nguyên tố vi lượng kẽm (Zn++) tinh khiết cho cây ớt, làm tăng sức đề kháng, xanh và cứng cây, chống rụng hoa và quả, đồng thời làm quả ớt có màu sáng đẹp. Nhờ có vi lượng kẽm, thuốc Antracol 70WP còn phòng trừ rất tốt bệnh vàng lá.

Có thể phun luân phiên thuốc Antracol 70WP (1.5 – 2 kg/ha) với thuốc Nativo 750WG (liều lượng 0,12kg/ha), nhờ tác động kép giữa 2 hợp chất trừ bệnh của thuốc Nativo 750WG giúp cây ớt phòng trừ được tất cả các bệnh nấm hại cây và quả ớt kéo dài.

Ngoài 2 loại thuốc trên, người sản xuất cũng có thể dùng luân phiên với thuốc Melody DUO 66,75WP với liều lượng theo khuyến cáo (1kg/ha).

2. Bệnh đốm trắng lá

TRIỆU CHỨNG BỆNH

Bệnh gây hại chủ yếu trên lá bánh tẻ đến lá già.

Vết bệnh lúc đầu nhỏ có màu xanh đậm, sau đó vết bệnh lớn dần vết bệnh có màu trắng, viền màu nâu đậm. Bệnh nặng làm cho lá rụng sớm, giảm năng suất, trái nhỏ. Bệnh ít hoặc không tấn công trên trái.

TÁC NHÂN GÂY BỆNH

Do nấm Cercospora capsici gây ra.

BIỆN PHÁP PHÒNG TRỊ

Khi thấy bệnh nặng phun thuốc Copper B 75 WP, Score 250 WP, FOLPAN 50SC … nồng độ 0,2 – 0,4%

3. Bệnh héo tươi

TRIỆU CHỨNG BỆNH

Bệnh gây hại nặng ở vùng trồng ớt trong suốt mùa mưa trong vùng khí hậu nhiệt đới.

Bệnh xảy ra rãi rác trên từng cây hoặc từng nhóm cây ở giữa ruộng. Triệu chứng đầu tiên trên cây già các lá bên dưới bị héo nhẹ; nhưng ở cây con thì các lá non bị héo trước. Sau vài ngày cây bất thình lình héo nhanh nhưng lá không vàng.

Chẻ thân ở phần gốc và rễ ta thấy các mạnh nhựa biến thành màu xám đất đến nâu nếu nhúng phần bị cắt vào nước ta sẽ thấy dòng vi khuẩn tuôn ra có màu trắng sữa.

TÁC NHÂN GÂY BỆNH

Do vi khuẩn Pseudomonas solanacearum gây ra.

BIỆN PHÁP PHÒNG TRỊ

– Lên líp cao thoát nước tốt, bón vôi.

– Luân canh không trồng họ cà ớt trên ruộng bị nhiễm nặng 2 – 3 năm.

– Tưới nước Copper zinc 85WP, Starner 20WP… 0,5 – 1% vào gốc cây mới bị bệnh.

– Nhổ và tiêu huỷ các cây bị bệnh nặng để tránh lây lan.

4. Bệnh thối đọt non

TRIỆU CHỨNG BỆNH

Bệnh thường gây hại nặng trong mùa mưa hoặc gặp khi thời tiết ẩm có nhiệt độ khá cao.

Bệnh thường gây hại trên hoa, chồi hoa, hoặc các nhánh non của cây.

Mô cây nơi bị nhiễm bệnh co màu nâu đen đến đen, và nấm lan nhanh xuống phần dưới, làm phần đọt bị chết và thối mềm ra. Trong điều kiện ẩm độ cao nơi phần bị thối ta thường thấy có tơ nấm màu trắng và tận cùng có phình tròn màu đen.

TÁC NHÂN GÂY BỆNH

Do nấm Choanephora cucurbitarum gây ra.

BIỆN PHÁP PHÒNG TRỊ

– Không trồng ớt quá dày, làm cỏ tạo cho ruộng ớt thông thoáng.

– Tránh trồng ớt vào mùa mưa.

– Liếp phải cao và thoát nước tốt.

– Không tưới nước quá đẩm vào chiều mát khi có bệnh xuất hiện.

– Phun thuốc Score 250 EC, FOLPAN 50SC … nồng độ 0,2 – 0,5% khi bệnh gây hại nặng

5. Bệnh khảm

TRIỆU CHỨNG BỆNH

Bệnh thường gây hại ở giai đoạn cây ra hoa kết trái trở về sau, bệnh gây hại nặng trong mùa nắng nóng và nhẹ trong mùa mưa.

Bệnh thường làm lá đọt nhỏ, xoắn lại, lá không phát triển, lóng ngắn, cây trở nên giòn dễ gãy. Bệnh nặng cây còi cọc, hoa bị vàng nhỏ và rụng, cây rất ít trái, trái nhỏ và vặn vẹo. Cuối cùng cây có thể bị chết.

TÁC NHÂN GÂY BỆNH

Do virus gây ra; côn trùng chích hút như rầy mềm, bù lạch là trung gian truyền bệnh.

BIỆN PHÁP PHÒNG TRỊ

– Không sử dụng nguồn giống ở những ruộng bị bệnh.

– Bón phân cân đối và tăng cường thêm lượng phân chuồng hoai mục để tăng khả năng chống chịu được bệnh.

– Phun thuốc trừ nhóm côn trùng chích hút bằng thuốc ACTARA 25WG, VERTIMEC 1.8 ND.

6. Bệnh mốc xám

TRIỆU CHỨNG BỆNH

Bệnh thường gây hại trên trái, nhất là trái non của ớt, dưa leo và mướp.

Trái thường bị thối từ chớp trái thối lên, trên vùng thối, bào tử nấm tạo thành lớp mốc xám. Trái bị thối khô tóp lại.

TÁC NHÂN GÂY BỆNH

Bệnh do nấm Botrytis cinerea Persoon. Bào tử lây lan theo gió, mưa. Bệnh phát triển mạnh trong mùa mưa.

BIỆN PHÁP PHÒNG TRỊ

– Loại bỏ các trái bệnh để tránh lây lan.

– Phun ngừa bằng TOPAN 70 WP (0,05 – 0,1%).

Bệnh thường xuất hiện trên cây trưởng thành và nặng nhất khi cây mang nhiều trái non. Ban đầu lá bên dươi bị héo, sau vài ngày toàn bộ cây đột nhiên có triệu chứng héo xảy ra. Khi cây chết mà lá, thân vẫn còn xanh
Trồng luân canh lúa, bắp, đậu… ít nhất 3 năm không trồng cây họ cà

Đất phải thoát nước tốt.

Bệnh thán thư, đốm quả do nấm:
–Collectotrichum spp
Vết bệnh trên trái có các đường viền xếp đồng tâm, lõm sâu, có màu vàng hay nâu đậm. Vết bệnh lan rộng nhanh chóng, nhất là ẩm độ không khí cao. Bệnh nặng các vết bệnh nối kết nhau hóa khô gây rụng trái có thể thiệt hại làm giảm năng suất 70 – 80%
10g Forwanil + 10g No Mildew25WP + 8 lít nước.

Mùa mưa trồng mật độ thưa, tạo thông thoáng, làm giảm ẩm độ không khí.

Bệnh héo vàng:
– Fusavium Oxys    pomm,F.Licopersiei
Thường gây hại lúc cây con và lúc ra hoa trái, thời gian bệnh kéo dài 10 – 15 ngày, lá xanh héo, mất nước, lâu dần chuyển vàng đều từ gốc lên, bó mạch trong thân và rễ thối nâu.
Xử lý hạt giống, xử lý đất bằng thuốc
Mocap với Alpine hoặc Aliette, nâng lượng vôi nhằm tăng pH đất, tăng cường bón Lân, ngừa bằng thuốc hóa học khi thời tiết ấm và ẩm:   No Mildew 25WP,Marthian 90SP, thuốc phòng trị gồm: Luster, Aliette,  Dipmat với Alpine.

Bệnh thối hạch:
– Se Leotium rolfsi
Triệu chứng lúc đầu có những sơi nấm trắng xuất hiện quanh gốc thân và phần thịt đen cuống trái, sau đó bện thành bông gòn rồi tạo thành hạch trắng làm quanh gốc thân rễ, trái thối khô đen.
Bằng cách cày sâu, xử lý đất sau đó xử lý hạt giống bằng thuốc, trồng cạn, tỉa lá gốc làm sạch cỏ dại, phủ màng phủ nông nghiệp tránh đất văng lên trái, phun thuốc phòng trị như  Bavisan 50WP, Fusin M, Bendarol…

Bệnh sinh lý hiếu vôi:
Thể hiện lá to dầy cong vênh nhẹ, trưa nắng có hiện tượng héo (như thiếu nước), trái ớt có phần đít trái bị đốm nâu vàng, từ từ lan rộng và chuyển sang màu nâu sậm, hơi lõm vào và rất cứng, nên nấm mốc đen, gặp điều kiện ăn sâu và thối trái. Bệnh thường phát triển mạnh vào mùa mưa, thời tiết nóng lạnh thất thường làm cho vôi bị đẩy ra, kết hợp với phèn gây hiện tượng thiếu vôi cục bộ.
Dùng màng phủ nông nghiệp, tưới nước đầy đủ cho nhu cầu cây, cày ải thoát phèn trước khi trồng, làm rãnh thoát nước mùa mưa. Bón vôi 30 – 100 kg/1.000m2, tránh bón dư phân: đạm, Kali, Mg, Bo làm rối loạn sinh lý cây; phun trực tiếp lên cây Ca(Cl)2, Aron…
